About the partnership

Allianz officially began its eight-year worldwide partnership with the Olympic & Paralympic Movements on Jan. 1, building on a collaboration with the Paralympic Movement since 2006.

Since announcing the partnership in September 2018, we have engaged fans, athletes, teams and employees through health across four pilot markets – Australia, China, France and Spain.

Worldwide Insurance Partner

From 2021, Allianz will expand local initiatives to connect with athletes and fans across the world. To name a few, we will offer consumers and employees the chance to take part in the Olympic Torch Relay at Beijing 2022 and will engage youth with the spirit & values of the Movements at its Allianz Sports Camps through trying sports, building friendships, and learning from athletes.

Allianz will also support the Movements with tailored insurance solutions and services.

About the International Olympic Committee

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is a not-for-profit independent international organization that is committed to building a better world through sport. Created on 23 June 1894, just under two years before the first Olympic Games of the modern era in April 1896, the IOC is the supreme authority of the Olympic Movement.

About the International Paralympic Committee

The IPC is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. Its purpose is to organize the Paralympic Games, and to manage, supervise, administrate, and promote Paralympic sporting events. Its vision is to make for an inclusive world through Para sport.
